Bye-Bye, Bloggy, Bye-Bye *edited*

This blog is going bye-bye (not that any of you will likely notice).

Not only am a professional reject, I'm apparently a social one, too.  It's become apparent that I'm not funny enough, witty enough or even interesting enough to continue to put time or energy into this and perhaps it's a blessing that I haven't been able to find a job down here and can't go to Chicago, as I'd likely be on the outside looking in there as well.

I hope you all have a fabulous time and wish you al the very best on your journeys!!

If any of you would like to keep in touch, email me through my profile.  Thanks, and so-long!

***Edited to add, I will still have my account and plan to continue reading and supporting you all.***

This blog will self destruct in T-24:00

  1. Are you serious? Are you bored with Blogland or with us? You don't have to blog everyday but keep us up to date when you have the time... Are you on facebook? I have a link to my facebook on my blog if you look me up we can keep in touch that way. ^Maria^-Blogger from "This one time at Band Camp..." Check out my blog at

  2. Okay, what the hell happened? Please don't leave!

  3. Awe! Don't leave! I like reading your stuff :D

  4. Hi D,

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling valued and supported while you've been going through such a tough time lately. I want you to know that I for one love reading your blog and I really hope you reconsider and decide to stay with us.

We're all different and have something different to offer and that's fine, we don't all have to be comedians (thank god, cause I'm not always the life of the party!), there's room for everyone here. I personally love reading honest blogs about peoples lives and experiences and their feelings and thoughts which is how you write, you should never feel less than someone else because they seem to have tons of followers...I'd rather be appreciated by a few than adored by millions anyway...(by the way you have more followers than me if that helps?).

I suspect that you just needed lots more support at the moment than you maybe got because you are feeling down, lonely and stressed after your move, but don't make the mistake of pushing us away.

I'm sorry I've been absent from commenting...I've been behind in reading, but I caught up with all your back posts earlier in the week, so I know how tough things have been for you lately and I really feel for you, but when you read things late it's really too late to comment on them.

I'm sending you loads of {{{hugs}}} and I hope you decide to come back to us. xxx

  5. I hope that you do decide to change your mind as we would miss you. Honestly, a number of bloggers have been less than active as of late in both commenting and writing their own blogs, as this time of year just seems to swamp everyone with vacation, work, kids being out of school and I would hate for you to leave... I'm sorry you are feeling down and if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
